WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 16, 2026) -- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's At-Large teams were announced on Tuesday afternoon, with six King's College student-athletes earning recognition. This year's honorees include men's golf's
Cameron Jones, men's ice hockey's
Diego D'Alessandro and
Grant Parshall, men's lacrosse's
Josh Hilpp, men's volleyball's
Alex Martellacci and wrestling's
MJ Turi.
Jones collects his second CSC Academic All-District® award of the 2025-26 academic year after being recognized on the men's soccer team in the fall. The junior dual-sport athlete appeared in five team scoring matches for King's during the spring, including the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom Championship where he finished 38th. He shot a season-low of 81 to finish with the lowest individual score in the Monarchs' 335-338 victory over Misericordia at the Wyoming Valley Country Club. A finance major, Jones completed the 2026 Spring semester with a 3.78 cumulative GPA.
D'Alessandro earns his first CSC Academic All-District® nod after making 13 starts between the pipes for the Monarchs this season. The junior goaltender accumulated a career-high 398 saves during the 2025-26 campaign, good for seventh place in program history. An accounting major, D'Alessandro has maintained a 3.88 cumulative GPA through the Spring 2026 semester.
Parshall joins D'Alessandro as a first-time CSC Academic All-District® honoree from the men's ice hockey team. The sophomore forward suited up in all 25 games this season for the Monarchs, amassing eight goals and six assists for 14 points. He recorded two power-play goals and one shorthanded tally while leading the team with 272 faceoff wins, the third-most in the MAC. A finance and accounting major, Parshall completed the 2025-26 academic year with a 3.97 cumulative GPA.
Hilpp makes his first appearance on the CSC Academic All-District® At-Large team after starting in all 15 games for the Monarchs this season. The junior midfielder posted a pair of goals - including one man-up marker - with four assists for six points. He added 57 ground balls, 18 caused turnovers and 12 faceoff wins. An aerospace engineering major, Hilpp has maintained a 3.96 cumulative GPA through the Spring 2026 semester.
Martellacci picks up his first CSC Academic All-District® nod after appearing in all 27 matches with 25 starts. The junior outside hitter racked up 167 kills with 17 assists and four service aces. Defensively, he contributed 140 digs, 11 block assists and three solo blocks. Martellacci has maintained a 3.61 cumulative GPA as a finance major.
Rounding out this year's CSC Academic All-District® At-Large honorees, Turi earns his second CSC accolade after being named to the team last year. The junior wrestled at 149 pounds this season and went 23-10 overall with 11 decisions, five pins and four tech falls. He posted a fourth-place finish at the MAC Championships and a seventh-place finish at the NCAA Region III Wrestling Championships. A finance and accounting major, Turi finished his third year at King's with a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
