WILKES-BARRE, PA (August 10, 2026) -- The King's College athletic department has added Justin Lock as Assistant Director of Athletic Communications, Director of Athletic Communications Noah Fritz announced on Monday, strengthening the Monarchs' storytelling, media relations, and game-day coverage efforts ahead of the 2026-27 academic year.
 
Lock joins King's after serving as an Athletic Communications and Broadcast Graduate Assistant at Frostburg State University, where he supported 25 NCAA varsity programs through live event coverage, digital content production, media relations, statistical reporting, and game-day operations. During his time with the Bobcats, he conducted student-athlete and coach interviews, compiled game notes and statistics, and helped execute broadcasts and promotional content across multiple sports.
 
"I am incredibly excited to welcome Justin to our staff ahead of the 2026-27 academic year," said Fritz. "His diverse skill set, strong work ethic, and broad background in athletic communications will make him an invaluable addition to our department."
 
Prior to Frostburg State, Lock gained professional baseball experience as a radio broadcaster and producer intern with the Wilmington Blue Rocks. In that role, he delivered play-by-play and color commentary, hosted pregame and postgame shows, managed broadcast operations, and assisted with live production throughout the season.
 
Lock also spent two years as an athletic broadcaster, host, and producer with Rowan University Athletics and Rowan Radio. There, he covered a variety of NCAA sports while producing podcasts, interviews, feature content, and live broadcasts. His experience includes conducting coach and student-athlete interviews, coordinating event coverage, and supporting athletic communications initiatives through multimedia storytelling.

A native of Vineland, New Jersey, Lock earned a Master of Science degree in Sport Management from Frostburg State University after graduating from Rowan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Communication and Media.

In his role, Lock will assist with all aspects of the Athletic Communications office, including media relations, statistical reporting, website management, social media content, broadcast production, and coverage of the Monarchs' NCAA varsity programs.
