WILKES-BARRE, PA. (September 26, 2026) -- King's College women's soccer battled Bryn Mawr College to a scoreless 0-0 draw on Saturday night at McCarthy Stadium as the Monarchs celebrated Homecoming. The matchup marked the first meeting between the two programs in 28 years, and now King's moves to 2-6-1 on the season, while Bryn Mawr moves to 1-6-1.

The Monarchs controlled much of the offensive pressure throughout the night, finishing with a 15-7 advantage in shots and putting seven shots on goal. King's also earned four corner kicks while holding Bryn Mawr without a corner.

King's goalkeeper Courtney Monard helped keep the Owls off the scoreboard with seven saves, recording her second individual shutout of the 2026 season and helping the Monarchs earn their third team shutout of the year.

King's created several chances throughout the contest, including multiple opportunities from Isabella Pacia in the second half. Pacia put three shots on target in the second half, but Bryn Mawr goalkeeper Lily Blackman turned each attempt aside. Mackenzie Seeley and Karissa Coleman also generated chances for the Monarchs throughout the night.

The Monarchs continued to apply pressure late, with Coleman having a shot blocked with less than 10 minutes remaining, but neither team could find the breakthrough as the match ended in a 0-0 draw.

The Monarchs return to action next Saturday, October 3, when they travel to Hoboken, New Jersey, to take on Stevens at 3:00 p.m.
