Bernie Kachinko joined the King's College staff in the summer of 1989 and has just completed his 30season at the head of the Monarchs women's volleyball program. Kachinko retired from the program for a brief period after the 2009 season, and when the position re-opened after the 2012 season, Kachinko was named the head coach of the women's program for the second time on January 21, 2013. In his tenure, Kachinko has produced 19 consecutive winning seasons, including 15 20-plus win seasons.
