In 1992-93 King's first began play at Monarch Fields, the College's new outdoor athletics complex.  In 1999 Rosa Betzler made a $1 million donation to the College and the complex was renamed the Robert L. Betzler Fields in memory of her late son. The name was later altered to the Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex.

In August 2008, the college completed construction of a new $1.2 million multi-purpose synthetic turf surface and named the field McCarthy Stadium in the Robert L. Betzler Fields Athletic Complex. To compliment the new field, King's installed lights for the first time ever while also adding a new scoreboard. Over the summer of 2021, King's took on their latest upgrade to the synthetic turf surface at McCarthy Stadium to better serve the needs and safety of our student-athletes.

In December 2007, King's completed construction of the new Intermetro Wellness Center , a beautiful two-floor structure located in the William S. Scandlon Physical Education Center.  Along with the new facility is the addition of a wide variety of weight training and cardiovascular equipment.

The 2012-13 academic year marked the completion of the construction of a new indoor recreation center adjacent to the William S. Scandlon Physical Education Center. The multi-million dollar facility provides all King's students expanded recreational and exercise opportunities as well as additional practice space for the College's intercollegiate teams.

The newly resurfaced tennis courts at Kirby Park provide King's men's and women's teams with a facility of such quality the Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships are hosted there every year.
