KING'S WOMEN'S POST 86-77 WIN OVER GETTYSBURG TO CLAIM FOURTH AT MARYMOUNT

ARLINGTON, VA -- Kaitlyn Fiorino scored a game-high 22 points to lead four double-figures scores as the King's College women's basketball team posted a 86-77 victory over Gettysburg College to finish fourth in the eight-team Marymount University Tip-Off Classic Sunday in Arlington, Va.

King's trailed 40-36 at the half but the Lady Monarchs rallied when Jenna Palumbo, who was scoreless in the first half, scored all of her 15 points, including three three-pointers over the final 20-minutes of play to lead the comeback.

Fiorino, who scored 14 first-half points, finished with six rebounds and four assists to earn a spot on the all-tournament team. Andrea Hochstuhl added 15 points and eight rebounds while Kaitlyn Malshefski contributed 11 points and nine boards. Lauren Kendra chipped in with seven points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Krystina Durako also tallied nine boards. The Lady Monarchs out rebounded Gettysburg 48-36.
