WILKES-BARRE, PA (August 27, 2025) -- The King's College women's basketball team and Head Coach Caitlin Hadzimichalis announced their 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The Monarchs are set for 25 regular-season games, including their holiday trip to Puerto Rico and an exhibition against Division I University of Pennsylvania at The Palestra.
The Monarchs will taken on the Quakers of the University of Pennsylvania in an exhibition contest on Friday, November 7 in Philadelphia, Pa. before opening their non-conference slate at home in McGrane Gymnasium against Widener on Wednesday, November 12 at 6:00 p.m. King's then heads out for back-to-back road tests at Gwynedd Mercy on November 15 and Saint Elizabeth on November 19 before returning home for match ups with SUNY Morrisville on November 22 and Wilkes on November 25 ahead of the Thanksgiving weekend.
The team will take on Keystone on November 30 and Penn State Schuylkill on December 2, both on the road, before hosting Centenary on December 16 before heading out for the holiday break. King's returns to action down in Puerto Rico against Salisbury on December 28 and Kenyon on December 29 as part of the Puerto Rico College Sports Tours Clasico before concluding their non-conference slate against Lycoming in the New Year on January 3 at McGrane Gymnasium.
Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play begins at home against Lebanon Valley on January 7 before their first road conference match up at FDU-Florham on January 10. A home meeting against Stevens on January 14 then sets up back-to-back road trips at Delaware Valley on January 17 and Misericordia on January 21 before wrapping up the first half of their conference-slate at home against Arcadia on January 24 and DeSales on January 28.
The remainder of their road games include trips to Stevens on February 4, Lebanon Valley on February 7, DeSales on February 18, and Arcadia on February 21. King's will host FDU-Florham on January 31, Misericordia on February 11, and Delaware Valley on February 14 to conclude the regular season.
The 2026 MAC Freedom Tournament is set for the semifinal match up on February 25 with the 2026 MAC Freedom Champion crowned on February 28 with an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championships on the line.
