KING'S MEN ROUTE PENN COLLEGE, 110-82

WILLIAMSPORT -- Senior center John Soboleski put on a dominating effort at both ends of the floor with career highs of 28 points and 19 rebounds to power the King's College men's basketball team to a 110-82 route of host Penn College of Technology Thursday in Williamsport.

With the win, King's improved to 14-8 on the year.

The Monarchs, who jumped out to a 58-36 halftime lead, tied the fourth highest single-game total in program history, equaling the mark set in a 111-110 double-overtime loss to Juniata College during the 1978-79 season.

Soboleski was 11-of-16 from the field while making 6-of-8 from the foul line. Kofi Dwebeng followed with 21 points, including 5-of-9 from three-point range, while adding seven seven assists. Jim Welsh added 16 points, including 4-of-8 from three-point range. Vince Scalzo and and Jamie Cousart chipped in with 11 and 10 points respectively. As a team, King's shot 47.1 (41-87) percent from the field while canning 41.7 (15-36) percent from three-point range.

Roberto Valentine led Penn College with 16 points while Joe Wysock added 14.

King's returns home Saturday with a 3:00 p.m. contest against Manhattanville College in Scandlon Gymnasium.
