MEN'S SOCCER ROUTE D'YOUVILLE, 9-0
BUFFALO, NY – Senior forward
Cameron Audette scored four goals and added an assist to power the King's men's soccer team to a 9-0 victory over host D'Youville College Saturday in Buffalo, NY.
Audette scored two first-half goals while Dan Carl and
Mark Timko also struck net for the Monarchs who took a 4-0 lead at the break. Audette would score King's first two goals of the second half to give King's an insurmountable 6-0 advantage.
Timko added one goals and two assists while Carl finished with one goal and one assist.
Nate Buckwalter and
Billy Elliott scored one goal each while Alex hennery and
Grant Parsons distributed two assists each.
Kevin Moulton also chipped in with an assist.
King's outshot D'Youville 23-7 on the day. Monarch goalie
Tim Kelly made two first-half saves while Rich Melber played the second half and made one stop.
The Monarchs will next travel to face Marywood Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in Scranton.
