Women's Cross Country Has Best Showing Ever by Finishing 21st at NCAA Mid-East Regionals

KING'S WOMEN'S RUNNERS 21ST AT NCAA MID-EAST REGIONALS
 
BETHLEHEM – The King's College women's cross country team posted its best finish ever at the NCAA Mid-East Regional Championships as the Lady Monarchs placed 21st among a field of 44 scoring squads Saturday at Lehigh University, Bethlehem.
 
Junior Tori Posatko paced the Lady Monarchs runners by finishing 45 out of 311  runners with a school record 6,000-meter time of 23:31.4. Sophomore Molly Brown was also outstanding, timing out with a personal best 23:56.9 to finish 68th. Junior Heather Elphick was 106th with a personal best time of 24:31.6.

Sophomore Shannon McGowan came in 161st at 25:19.4. Kirstie Nicole was 203rd at 26:17.8; freshman Madeline Schiminger came in 227th with a personal best 26:49.9; while freshman Hannah Bestwick rounded out the Lady Monarchs with a 265th showing with a time of 28:15.0.
