KING'S WOMEN'S  TENNIS DROPS CLOSE MATCH TO SUSQUEHANNA
 
ORLANDO – The King's College women's tennis team (8-7) dropped a close 5-4 match to Susquehanna University (4-2) in Orlando, Florida on Sunday.
 
The team won three singles matches while only picking up one doubles victory.
 
Jillian Tallarico defeated Shelby Werronen in a close match by scores of 6-0, 7-6 (7-5). Tallarico later teamed with 
Cynthia Darby to take on the team of Werronen and Whitney Arcaro to pick up the 8-5 victory which was the lone doubles victory for the Lady Monarchs.
 
 
Susquehanna then picked up their first singles victory in the number two singles slot when Julia Lerner defeated 
Christy Rossowski 6-1, 6-1. 
Lauren Breen picked up a hard fought win for King's in the third flight over Christine Crigler 7-5, 6-4. After the Breen victory Susquehanna picked up two singles victory before 
Diana Darby closed out the day with a win in the sixth singles slot over Charlotte Jordan 6-4, 6-1.
