WILKES-BARRE, PA (July 16, 2026) -- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) recently announced its 2026 Division III Women's ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams, recognizing teams and individuals for academic excellence throughout the year. The King's College women's tennis team collected ITA All-Academic Team recognition, while three Monarchs were named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
 
Women's tennis student-athletes continued to shine in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. Across Division III, 1,309 student-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, while 177 programs received the ITA All-Academic Team distinction.
 
The Monarchs earned All-Academic Team honors by satisfying the ITA's academic criteria. To earn the distinction, a program must:

• Have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale).
• Have all student-athletes included listed on the institutional eligibility form.
• Have all varsity letter winners factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.

 
King's also saw Betsy Allen, Kimberly Dinh, and Madeline Sirianni earn ITA Scholar-Athlete recognition. To qualify for the award, student-athletes must:

• Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year.
• Be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
