LANCASTER, PA – The King's College men's and women's swim teams completed day one of the Franklin and Marshall Invitational Saturday night. The Monarch men stand in ninth place (68 points) through the first two sessions of the invitational, while the women sit in 10th place (58 points) through two sessions.
 
For the women, Patricia Manning (York, PA, York Suburban) finished seventh in the 400 IM with a time of 4:52.75 and 17th in 200 IM at 2:20.47. The team of Caitlin Casey, Krystna Homanko, Rebecca Smith, and Maggie Nealer took home 10th in the 200 free relay at 1:50.40.  
 
For the men, three Monarchs competed in the 50 free with Eric Stencovage (Schuylkill Haven, PA, Blue Mountain) leading the way in 24th place at 23:90, Jack Harrington in 31st (25:16), and Joe Wescoat in 35th (25:91). The squad of Justin Weilert, Stencovage, Joshua DeBellas, and Harrington captured ninth place in the 400 medley relay at 4:11.11 and ninth in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:53.23.
 
King's will finish session three of the two-day invitational tomorrow. Timed events will begin at 10:00 a.m.
