KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS DROP TWO IN SEASON OPENER IN FLORIDA

Kissimmee, FLA - - The King's College women's tennis team opened the 2010 campaign with a pair of losses to two very tough teams on Tuesday in Kissimmee, Fla.

King's dropped the first match to NAIA opponent Evangel University 9-0, before being swept by NCAA Division III power Carthage College.

Jillian Tallarico had a very competitive number one singles match against Maria Martinez, but eventually fell by the score of 6-2, 6-4. She would later team with Diana Darby to have a close number one doubles match, but fell by the score of 9-7 to the team of Martinez and Hannah Ball.
