KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS EDGED BY SUSQUEHANNA, 6-3.
 
WILKES-BARRE -- The visiting Susquehanna University women's tennis team won two of the three doubles matchup, then captured four of six singles bouts to post a 6-3 victory over host King's College Monday at Kirby Park.
 
With the win, the Crusaders improved to 6-3 while King's slipped to 10-8.
 
In doubles, King's picked up a 9-8 victory when Jillian Tallarico and Diana Darby defeated Julia Lerner and Ellen Pulsinelle in the number-one flight. In singles, Middle Atlantic Conference runner-up Lauren Breen posted a 6-4, 6-1 victory in the fourth flight over Pulsinelle. In the number-six flight, Nicole Molino earned her first career victory with a 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 triumph over Allison Killeen.
