KING'S BASBALL HOST PENN STATE ABINGTON ON TUESDAY, VIEW LIVESTATS
WILKES-BARRE - - The King's College baseball team will return to the diamond Tuesday when the Monarchs host Penn State Abington in a 4:00 p.m. non-conference matchup at Lipo Field in the Robert L. Betzler Athletic Complex.

King's enters with a 13-9 overall record after dropping a 6-2 loss to Montclair State on Sunday.
Senior Matt Unger tops the team with a .413 (31-75) average with five doubles, two triples, one home run and 23 RBI. Freshman Brian Mikus is hitting .375 (21-56) with three doubles, one triple and 13 RBI. Senior Jeremy Bonser contributes with a .356 (16-45) average tallying five doubles, one triple and five RBI. Freshman Mike Kusters hits .333 (12-36) with one double and nine RBI. Freshman Joey Troxell adds a .324 (24-74) average with three doubles, one triple and 15 RBI. Leading the way on the mound so far is junior Tommy Rozelle who is 4-1 with a 2.08 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 30.1 innings. Senior Eric Matula is 3-1 with a 4.78 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 32 innings. Senior Dan Jenkins is 2-0 with a 3.38 ERA and seven strikeouts in eight innings.
The Penn State Abington baseball team stands at 10-17-1 overall record after picking up a doubleheader split with Penn State Harrisburg.
Connor Mcfarlane is batting .385 (25-65) with seven doubles, one triple and 10 RBI. Matt Speckman follows at .384 (38-99) with six doubles, one home run and 20 RBI. Daniel Hill stands at .378 (31-82) with six doubles, one triple, two home runs and 19 RBI, while also going 3-2 on the mound with a 3.00 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 36.0 innings. Steve Schall hits .341 (14-41) with one double, and nine RBI.
