King's Women's Tennis Falls to Misericordia in Freedom Conference Semi-Finals

KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO MISERICORDIA IN MAC SEMI-FINALS
 
KINGSTON -- The Misericordia women's tennis team advanced to the finals of the Freedom Conference tournament as the third-seeded Cougars posted a 5-0 victory over second-seeded King's College Tuesday in a match that began at Kirby Park but concluded in the Kingston Indoor Tennis Center after being halted by rain and lightening.

The match began with doubles and Misericordia a swept all three contests to take a 3-0 lead.

In singles, Abby Searfoss and Ashley Mangabang were victorious over King's Jillian Tallarico and Courtnay Wilson to give the Cougars a 5-0 lead. With the match clinched, the four remaining singles matches were halted and not finished.
