WILKES-BARRE – The King's College women's tennis team made their 2010 Fall debut on Saturday afternoon falling 7-2 against Marywood University in a non-conference match at Kirby Park.

With the loss King's slips to 0-1 on the season, while Marywood improves to 4-2 overall.

King's Jillian Tallarico picked up the Lady Monarchs lone singles win at her #1 position, posting a sweep of Marywood's Ashley Karli by scores of 6-2, 6-3. The Pacers would take the remaining singles flights in straight sets. In doubles play, the team of Tallarico and Lauren Breen recorded an 8-4 win to lead King's.

King's will return to the courts Tuesday when they welcome Keystone College to Kirby Park for a non-conference match scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
