LADY MONARCH TENNIS TEAM DROPS 6-3 VERDICT TO LYCOMING
WILLIAMSPORT – Host Lycoming College opened the match by winning two of three doubles contests, then capture four-of-six singles bouts to post a 6-3 victory over the King's College women's tennis team Saturday in Williamsport.
With the win Lycoming improved to 2-2 while King's slipped to 1-2.
Rachel Hoffnagle and Maria Cometa teamed to win King's lone doubles contest with a 8-6 decision over Linda Fogg and Rebecca Reynolds. Diana Darby picked up a singles triumph for the Lady Monarchs by downing Reynolds 6-4, 6-3. Jen Bader registered the final win for the Lady Monarchs with a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Kathy Jacobs.
