King’s Women’s Cross Country Earn Seventh Place Finish at MAC Championships

Grantham, PA- The King's College women's cross country team ran to a seventh place finish at the MAC Championships.  The 2011 championship featured 122 runners on 13 teams.

Michon Dinwoodie was the Lady Monarchs first finisher in 27th place in a time of 26:37.  Kirstie Nicol crossed the finish line in a time of 27:57, while Shannon McGowan finished in 28:02 good for 52nd place. Jill O'Malley turned in a 61st place finish in a time of 28:22. Molly Brown rounded out the scored finishers with a time of 28:50 and a 70th place finish.

Other notable King's finishes were Madeline Schiminger (77th/29:09), Catherine Falcone (95th/31:14), Monika Williams (106th/32:42), and Amanda Hanna (110th/32:54).

The Lady Monarchs are back in action on Nov. 12 when they travel to DeSales for the NCAA Mid-East Regional beginning at 11:00 a.m.
