Wilkes-Barre, PA— The King's College men's basketball team will host the PNC Monarch Classic Friday and Saturday at Scandlon Gymnasium. The tournament will open Friday, with Carnegie Mellon taking on Susquehanna at 6:00 p.m. and King's hosting PSU Harrisburg at 8:00 p.m.
The losers of Friday's match ups will meet in the consolation game at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday while the winners will square off at 3:00 p.m. for the tournament title.

Freshman guard Amani Glenn is the teams top scorer with 17.4 points per game as well as 5.3 rebounds per outing. Senior captain Kenton Alston has chipped in 15.9 points and a team-high 6.7 rebounds per game.
Carnegie Mellon enters the tournament with a 3-4 record after falling to Bethany College 88-75 on Tuesday night. Sophomore guard Riley Rashauri has paced Carnegie Mellon with 13.9 points per contest and connecting on 13-of-25 from beyond the arc. Senior John Durhing has chipped in 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. Christian Manoli has had a strong start to his sophomore campaign scoring 10.3 points and grabbing 4.1 rebounds per game.
The Crusaders are 2-4 after a 67-65 win against Elizabethtown Wednesday night. Senior Spenser Spencer leads the Susquehanna offense averaging 16.7 points per game to go with 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Sophomore center Harley Sellinger has added 11.7 points and a team-high 7.5 boards per game.
