KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO MISERICORDIA IN FREEDOM CONFERENCE SEMI-FINALS
DALLAS -- The King's College women's tennis team saw its season come to an end as the third-seeded Lady Monarchs dropped a 5-0 decision to second-seeded Misericordia University in the semi-finals of the Freedom Conference Tournament Wednesday in Dallas.
Four singles matches went unfinished when Misericordia clinched the contest. With the loss, King's fell to 11-8 on the year while King's slipped to 5-12.
The Cougars jumped out to a 3-0 lead after doubles. Misericordia then posted victories at the number-one and number-two singles flights, clinching the match at 5-0.
