Wilkes-Barre-- The King's College cross country teams gained valuable experience running the Cougar Classic at Misericordia.
The men's team finished seventh overall led by a 31st place finish from Patrick Gramling in a time of 30:37 and a 71st overall finish from Vince Battipaglia in a time of 31:55.
Jeffery Cort turned in a time of 32:58 good for a 114th place and Kevin Chin Shue finished in 163 in a time of 33:40.
Catherine Falcone finished in a time of 31:11 good for 43rd place as the King's women's squad picked up a 10th place finish.
Monika Williams finished in 91st place with a time of 31:30 and
Amanda Hanna finished in a time of 33:35 and earned a 144th place finish.
Both of the King's squads will return to action next Saturday when they travel to the Messiah with the women's race starting at 10:30 and the men's race at 11:15.
