Grantham, PA-- The King's College women's cross country team earned a fourth place finish at the Messiah Invitational Saturday.

Michon Dinwoodie led the Lady Monarchs with a 17th place finish in a time of 26:26. Shannon McGowan and Jill O'Malley finished stride for stride with less than a second difference in a time of 27:43 and finishes of 33rd and 34th respectively.

Kirstie Nicol finshed in 35th place in a time of 27:48 and Molly Brown rounded out the King's top five in a time of 27:56 good for a 37th place finish.

Madeline Schiminger finished in 50th place in a time of 28:28.  Allison Gardinier picked up a 79th place finish in a time of 30:47.

The Lady Monarchs return to action next Friday when they travel to Lehigh for the Paul Short Invitational at 2:30 pm.
