KING'S WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY 26TH AT ANNUAL PAUL SHORT INVITATIONAL AT LEHIGH

BETHLEHEM -- Freshman Michon Dinwoodie continued her fine rookie season finishing 70th among a field of 335 runners from both the NCAA Division II and III ranks to pace the King's College women's cross country team at the annual Paul Shore Invitational at Lehigh University Friday in Bethlehem. King's competed in the "White Division".


Dinwoodie helped King's place 26th among a field of 39 teams in the 6k event. Stephanie Pryor of Seton Hill was the women's champion with a 22:52 while Indiria Avila of Queens College placed second at 22:56.

Also for King's, Kirstie Nicol was 123rd overall with a 26:09; Jill O'Malley crossed the line 162nd at 26:54; while Molly Brown was 168th with a 26:59. In addition, Shannon McGowan was 172nd at 27:01 while Maddie Schiminger finished 192nd with a time of 27:28.

Kutztown won the team title with 69 points while Seton Hill was second with 85. Rochester Institute of Technology was third with 199 points. King's tallied a team score of 695.
