King's Men Basketball Travel to Wilkes for Season Finale
Wilkes-Barre, PA— The King's College men's basketball team has the chance to play spoiler in their season finale against cross-town rival Wilkes Saturday afternoon at the Marts Center at 3:00 p.m.

The Monarchs fell to 9-15 overall and 4-9 in the Freedom Conference after a 60-53 loss to Misericordia Tuesday. Wilkes dropped a 61-59 loss to DeSales Saturday to fall to 15-8 and 8-5 in the conference.
In the first meeting between the two teams on Jan. 18 Wilkes earned a 66-56 victory. The Colonels Matt Mullins posted a career high 30 points including nine 3-pointers. Sophomore

Keyton Winder each turned in 12 points to lead the Monarchs.
King's is in the middle of the pack in the Freedom Conference in both scoring offense and defense. The Monarchs are averaging 69.0 points per game and are allowing 69.9 points per contest. The Colonels have the conference second best offense scoring 74.3 points per game and the second best scoring defense allowing 65.3 points per outing.
The Monarchs have had the better of the all-time series holding a 47-36 edge and under head coach J.P. Andrejko King's is 14-9 against the Colonels.
Hammonds is atop the King's scoring list this season averaging 11.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per contest. Junior guard
Matt Fiorino has connected on 51-of-121 3-pointers and is averaging 9.4 points per game. Winder has tallied 9.2 points and 4.3 boards per contest.
Senior guard
Kyle Stackhouse has chipped in 8.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest and is third in the conference with 3.1 assists per game. Freshman
Tim O'Shea has posted 8.0 points and 3.6 boards per outing. Senior guard
Nick Reisig has added 5.8 points, 3.5 boards and 3.0 assists per game.
The Colonels have fout players averaging double figure in scoring this season. Kendall Hinze leads the way with 14.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Paul Huch is a close second with 14.6 points and a team-high 8.0 boards per outing. Mullins is addding 14.1 points nad 4.1 boards. Jourdon Wilson has tallied 10.6 points.
