KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS BLANKS MANHATTAVILLE, FINISHES AS THIRD-SEED FOR FREEDOM TOURNEY

BARRE -- The King's College women's tennis team wrapped up the third-seed for next week's Freedom Conference Tournament by posting a 9-0 victory over visiting
Manhattanville College Saturday at Kirby Park.
With the win, King's improved to 7-12 overall and 3-2 in the Freedom Conference.
Manhattanville slipped to 2-9 and 0-5 in league matches. King's will face second-seeded
Misericordia Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in the Freedom Conference semi-finals.
Against
Manhattanville, King's opened with a 3-0 lead after sweeping doubles. The Lady Monarchs then wonall six singles bouts to secure the victory.
