Lady Monarch Tennis Opens Freedom Play with 8-1 Win Over FDU

KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS OPENS FREEDOM CONFERENCE SLATE WITH 8-1 WIN OVER FDU

?MADISON, NJ --The King's College women's tennis team opened the Freedom Conference schedule in style as the Lady Monarchs posted a 8-1 victory over host FDU-Florham Tuesday in Madison, NJ.

With the win, King's improved to 5-9 overall and 1-0 in conference play while FDU slipped to 1-9 and 0-1.

King's won all three doubles matches to start the contest. The Lady Monarchs then clinched the match by winning five of the six singles bout, each victory coming in straight sets.

Sara Lynn and Diana Darby were winners in singles and teamed to post a doubles victory. Emily Biffen, Nicole Milino, and Katlyn Rossowski were also winners in both singles and doubles.

The Lady Monarchs will next travel to St. Davids on Thursday for a 3:00 p.m. Freedom Conference matchup at Eastern University
