Monarch Basketball Hosts Eastern Wednesday in Freedom Conference Tilt

Wilkes-Barre, Pa. --  The King's College men's basketball team hosts Eastern Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. at Scandlon Gymnasium in a key Freedom Conference matchup.

King's stands at 8-11 overall and 3-5 in the Freedom Conference after a 73-61 loss to league-leading DeSales on Saturday. Eastern is also 3-5 in league play and are 5-14 overall after knocking off Manhattanville 83-63.

Junior guard Kyle Hammonds leads the Monarch offense with 13.2 points per game. He is also grabbing 3.8 rebounds. Senior Matt Fiorino nets 11.3 points and currently ranks second in King's history with 191 three-point field goals. Tim O'Shea has provided a spark off the bench with 8.1 points and 4.3 boards per contest.

The Eagles' offense is paced by Anthony Parenti and his 12.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. Malcolm Garrison chips in 9.3 points and 2.3 boards per contest. Kyle Malloy adds 7.2 points and a team-leading 5.4 rebounds per game.
