King's College Men's Basketball Team Hosts DeSales in Freedom Conference Showdown
Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The King's College men's basketball team resumes Freedom Conference play when they host DeSales on Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. at Scandlon Gymnasium.

The Monarchs are 6-7 after splitting a pair of games at the Cross County Challenge including an 84-47 victory over Marywood. King's is 1-1 in Freedom Conference play. DeSales is 10-3 overall and 2-0 in the Freedom Conference. The Bulldogs dropped a 77-68 decision to Arcadia on Monday.
Junior guard
Kyle Hammonds leads the Monarch offense scoring 13.2 points per game. He also adds 3.6 rebounds per contest.
Matt Fiorino adds 10.4 points and has shot 31-of-75 from beyond the arc. Fiorino currently ranks fifth in school history with 173 three-pointers.
Keyton Winder adds 9.1 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
Tim O'Shea chips in 8.0 points and 3.8 boards.
Tom Heston is King's leading rebounder averaging 5.5 boards to go with 5.5 points per game.
The Bulldog offense is paced by Brett Moyer and his 17.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. Paul Pammer and Mike Coleman each average 10.4 points. Pammer grabs 4.8 rebounds while Coleman pulls down 4.4 boards. Michael Guldin adds 8.3 points and 4.0 helpers per contest.
The Monarchs will continue Freedom Conference play when they travel to Eastern on Saturday for a 3:00 p.m. tip-off.
