LADY MONARCHS TENNIS DOWNED BY WEBBER INTERNATIONAL
ORLANDO, FL -- The King's College women's tennis team won one singles bout and one doubles contest in a 7-2 loss to NAIA member Webber International University Wednesday in Orlando.
With the loss King's fell to 0-5 on the year.
Nicole Molino was King's lone winner in singles, posting a hard-fought three-set victory. Molino dropped the first set 3-6 but rebounded to win the second set 6-2. The two players then engaged in a super-tie-breaker, which Molino won 10-8.
The Lady Monarchs also received a doubles triumph from the team of Kaitlyn Rossowski and Maggie Walsh, who also won a closely contested matchup with a 9-8 victory by securing the tiebreaker by a 9-7 margin.
