KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS SWEEPS FDU-FLORHAM
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's tennis team improved to 2-0 in Freedom Conference play with a 9-0 victory over visiting FDU-Florham Saturday at Kirby Park.
With the win King's improved to 3-7 overall while FDU fell to 2-12 and 0-4 in conference play.
Sara Lynn, Madeline Griffin, Emily Biffen and Liz Demko all were victories in singles and doubles matches. With FDU only able to bring four player, Katie Rossowski and Nicole Molino both were awarded forfeits in singles and teamed together to pick up another forfeit in doubles.
King's returns to the court Monday at 4:30 p.m. to face Misericordia University in Dallas.
