KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS DEFEATS LYCOMING 6-3WILKES-BARRE, PA --- The King's College women's tennis team came back from a 2-1 deficit after doubles play to defeat Lycoming College 6-3 on Saturday morning at Kirby Park.
The Monarchs captured five of the six singles matches to increase their record to 2-0 this season.
Madeline Griffin teamed with
Julia Keppel at number-one singles for King's only doubles victory. Griffin and Keppel were also winners at singles for the Monarchs.
Lauren DeReinzi,
Vanessa Wagner, and
Emily Kabalka were also single winners for King's.
The Monarchs will next be in action on Wednesday when they travel to Clarks Summit, PA to face Baptist Bible College at 4:00 p.m.
