Nicole Sott and
Meghan Lermond scored two goals each to power the King's College field hockey team to a 6-0 victory over Ramapo College on the first day of the Misericordia Friday in Dallas.

With the win King's improved to 2-1 while the Roadrunners slipped to 1-2

King's opened the scoring 4:11 into the game when Sott struck net unassisted. The score remained the same until the 21:33 mark when
Meghan Lermond scored off an assist from
Alyssa Monaghan.

Monaghan and Sott then added goals at 26:25, and again at 29:14 respectively to give King's a 4-0 lead at the break.

The lead swelled to 5-0 when Breanna DiMaggio scored just 1:50 into the second half. Lermond then added her second goal at 41:28.

King's outshot Ramapo 14-3 and held a 11-1 advantage in penalty corners.
Chelsea Blaney and
Paige Tedik split time in goal and combined for two saves.
