KING'S FOOTBALL HITTING THE ROAD FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WEEK TO TAKE ON MAC LEADER STEVENSONWILKES-BARRE -- The King's College football team will look to get back into the win column when the Monarchs travel to Owings Mills, MD to face Middle Atlantic Conference rival Stevenson University at 1:00 p.m. in Mustang Stadium.

http://portal.stretchinternet.com/stevenson/ABOUT THE GAME:King's is looking to snap a two-game losing streak and hopes to even its MAC record. Stevenson is looking to remain the only unbeaten in the MAC, both overall and in league play.
ABOUT THE SERIES:This is the 5th all-time meeting between the teams with King's holding a 3-1 advantage. The Monarchs won the first three games of the series before Stevenson broke through last year for a 7-0 win in Wilkes-Barre. King's is 2-0 at Mustang Stadium, including a 31-24 victory in 2013. In 2011, Stevenson's first year in the MAC, King's posted a 51-26 win in the team's first meeting at Mustang Stadium.
THE COACHES:Monarch mentor Jeff Knarr is in his sixth season of rebuilding the program at King's and owns a 15-39 career record. Stevenson coach Ed Hottle is in his fifth year and is 16-25.
LAST WEEK:King's traveled to Doylestown and lost to traditonal MAC power Delaware Valley by a 26-10 count. Stevenson, meanwhile, hosted Misericordia and had little trouble in a 28-7 home victory over Misericordia.
KING'S ON OFFENSE: MULTIPLE-IThe Monarchs, totally retooled at the skill positions, have averaged 269.3 yards of total offense over the course of the first four games. King's has rushed for just 98.0 yards while passing for 171.3 yards. Senior quarterback
Tom Hehre has completed 71-of-129 passes for 594 yards with one touchdown and six interceptions while rushing for 91 yards on 41 attempts with four touchdowns. Freshman tailback
Gabe Brown owns a team-high 238 rushing yards on 64 carries with two touchdowns. Junior

Jay Thomas chips in with three receptions for 41 yards but may miss a second straight game with an injury.
STEVENSON ON OFFENSE: MULTIPLE After four games the Stevenson offense is averaging 337.5 total yards per-game . The Mustangs are rushing at a 128.5 yards-per-game clip while passing for 209.0 yards. The offense is led by sophomore quarterback Jeff Farrah who has completed 59-of-109 passes for 804 yards with 10 touchdowns and three interceptions.
The Mustang ground game is paced by freshman tailback Kiandre Burrell who has rushed for 259 yards on 53 carries, averaging 4.9 yards per-carry. Junior tailback Paki Brown has 166 yards on 40 attempts and averages 4.2 yards each attempt. The receivers are headed by Devin Salisbury with 12 receptions for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Senior Neil Harps follows with 11 catches for 180 yards and three scores. Junior Seth Jordan adds 10 catches for a team-high 233 yards with three touchdowns while junior Cortez Taylor contributes with 10 catches for 87 yards. Senior tight end Andrew Wysocki chips in with seven receptions for 70 yards.
KING'S ON DEFENSE: MULTIPLE 3-4 The Monarchs defense enters game-four allowing 404.8 yards of total offense per-game after yielding 479 total yards to Delaware Valley last week. The Monarchs have allowed 204.0 rushing yards per-game as well as 200.8 passing yards each contest. Senior defensive end
Michael Martina currently leads the defense with 28 tackles and 6.0 quarterback sacks thus far. Sophomore safety Jake Mannetti follows with 25 tackles and an interception. Senior safety
Anthony Martuccio adds 23 tackles with an interception and forced fumbled. Junior linebacker
Bobby Russell, a 2014 All-MAC selection, has made 21 tackles with one sack, one interception, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one blocked field goal.

STEVENSON ON DEFENSE: MULTIPLE The Stevenson defense is allowing opponents an average of 368.3 yards of total offense per-game. The Mustangs are yielding 228.7 passing yards and 139.7 rushing yards each contest. More impressively is the fact the Stevenson defense has forced 17 turnovers in four games, including an MAC-high 10 interceptions and seven fumble recoveries. The Mustangs also have an MAC-best 19 quarterback sacks. Senior linebacker Brady Kempa tops he unit with 37 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 3.0 tackles for loss with two interceptions.
Junior linebacker Cory Pietrzyk also adds 37 tackles with 8.5 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks. Junior linebacker Razonte Dunn follows with 35 tackles with 3.0 tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries. Sophomore defensive back Antonio Johnson has tallied 29 tackles with four interceptions. Senior linebacker Resheed Lashley has made 22 tackles with 3.0 sacks and 5.0 tackles for loss. Junior defensive lineman Austin Meyers has registered 16 tackles with 3.0 sacks and 4.0 tackles for loss.Junior defensive back Austin Tennessee also has 16 tackles with two interceptions.
