The women will play in the Holiday Inn Classic at Oneonta (NY) State University, while the men compete in the Pepsi Tip-Off Tournament at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove.

King's women will open the event tonight with a 6:00 p.m matchup with Hartwick College. The Lady Monarchs stand at 2-0 on the year after posting a 75-30 victory over Penn State Wilkes-Barre Wednesday night. The Hawks stand at 0-2 on the year after a 73-56 loss to Skidmore College Tuesday night. On Saturday, King's will then play host Oneonta at 3:00 p.m.

The Red Dragons, who defeated Utica in the season-opener 65-52 on Tuesday, will face Middlebury College in its first game Friday night.  King's and Oneonta do have some recent history as the teams squared off in the opening round of the 2012 NCAA Division III National Tournament, a game King's won 56-42 at home en route to a spot in the NCAA Sweet 16.

On the men's side the Monarchs face an intriguing opponent in Davis College of New York. Davis won the 2015 Bible College National Tournament. The Falcons also won national Bible titles in 2011 and 2013. The 2015-16 Davis squad, however, has gotten off to a slow start. The team is 1-6 this far, falling to Cayuga 82-57 on Tuesday night.

The Monarchs, meanwhile, enter the event with a 2-0 record after posting a 85-44 road win over Penn State Hazleton Monday night. Should King's win, the Monarchs face the winner of the other first-round pairing featuring host Susquehanna and Penn State Wilkes-Barre Saturday at 3:00 p.m. The consolation game is slated for 1:00 p.m.  Susquehanna is 1-0 after an 88-82 win over Misericordia Tuesday night. Penn State Wilkes-Barre is 0-3 thus far after a 82-61 loss to Marywood on Tuesday.
