King's Women's Tennis Drops 7-2 Decision to Lebanon Valley

KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS DROPS 7-2 DECISION TO LEBANON VALLEY

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to visiting Lebanon Valley in a non-conference matchup Sunday at Kirby Park.

With the loss King's slipped to 6-6 while Lebanon Valley improved to 8-6.

King's lone singles win came in the number-one position when King's defending Middle Atlantic Conference champion Madeline griffin posted a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Mary Kate Lemon.  The Monarchs other win came in doubles where Lauren DeReinzi and Maggie Walsh earned an 8-6 decision in the number-two flight.

King's will next play at Misericordia University Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
