King's Women's Tennis Drops 7-2 Decision to Misericordia

KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO MISERICORDIA

WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to host Misericordia University Tuesday in Dallas.
With the loss King's slipped to 5-8 overall and 2-2 in Freedom Conference play. Misericordia improved to 4-5 and 2-1 in league competition.

King's reigning Middle Atlantic Conference champion Madeline Griffin was a winner in singles and doubles for King's. In singles, she posted a 6-0, 6-0 triumph over Megan Meyers. In doubles she teamed with Julia Keppel to register a 8-2 win over Meyers and Bridget Boyle.  Griffin improved to 18-1 on the year in singles.


King's will next host Scranton on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Kirby Park
