KING'S FIELD HOCKEY DEFEATS WESLEY COLLEGE, 3-0DALLAS, PA-- The King's College field hockey team defeated Wesley College 3-0 on Saturday afternoon at Mangeldorf Field on the campus of Misericordia University in Dallas on the second day of the Misericordia Tournament.
The Monarchs improved their record to 2-1 this year while Wesley falls to 1-2.
Brianna DiMaggio gave the Monarchs a 1-0 lead in the tenth minute when she tapped in a ball in front of the cage off a pass from
Kelsey Gabriele.
Madysen Jones scored the second goal for King's in the 46
th minute when she collected a rebound off a shot from
Nicole Sott and put it past the Wesley defenders into the back of the cage. The third goal came from
Alyssa Monaghan who snuck one past the goalkeeper on a breakaway with 38 seconds left in the game.

Brianna DiMaggio each had a goal for the Monarchs while
Kelsey Gabriele had an assist.
Paige Tedik got the win in goal making two saves.
King's outshot Wesley 18-3 and held an 8-6 advantage in penalty corners.
King's will next be in action on Wednesday when they travel to La Plume, PA to face Keystone College at 4:00 p.m.
