King's Women's Tennis Downed by Juniata 8-1 on Florida Trip

KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS DROPS 8-1 DECISION TO JUNIATA

ORLANDO -- The King's College women's tennis team fell to Juniata College 8-1 Monday in Orlando.

The Eagles built a 3-0 lead after doubles, then iced the win by taking five-of-six singles contests.

King's lone winner was Madeline Griffin in the number-one doubles flight. Griffin tallied a 7-6 (7-3), 6-2 decision to improve to 7-1 on the year.

King's resumes play Tuesday with a 12:30 p.m. matchup against Judson University.
