LADY MONARCH TENNIS DROPS 8-1 VERDICT TO URSINUS
ORLANDO -- The King's College women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to Ursinus College Wednesday on the final day of the team's spring break trip to Florida. King's slipped to 2-5 with the loss while Ursinus improved to 3-1.
Senior standout Madeline Griffin was the lone winner for King's, posting a 6-1, 6-2 singles victory in the number-one flight. The win enabled Griffin to improve to 9-1 on the year.
The Lady Monarchs will resume play March 19 with a road match at Messiah College in Grantham.
