KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO MISERICORDIA
WILKES-BARRE -- The King's College women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to visiting Misericordia University Saturday at Kirby Park.
With the loss King's slipped to 5-9 overall and 1-3 in the Freedom Conference while Misericordia stands at 5-3 and 3-1.
Madeline Griffin was a winner in singles and doubles for King's and improved to 15-2 in singles on the year. Maggie Walsh was King's only other singles winner. Â Griffin and Jenkins were 8-6 winners at number-one doubles while Walsh teamed with Lauren DeReinzi for an 8-2 triumph at second singles.
Gabby Belles, Nellie Chmil, Linsey Park, and Amberlynn Habich were all singles winners for the Cougars.
