King's Women's Tennis Clinches 4th Seed with 7-2 Win Over FDU

KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS DOWNS FDU-FLORHAM 7-2, CLINCHES FOURTH SEED IN FREEDOM PLAYOFFS

MADISON, NJ -- The King's College women's tennis team wrapped up the fourth seed for next week's Freedom Conference Tournament as the Lady Monarchs posted a 7-2 victory over host FDU-Florham Saturday in Madison, NJ.

With the win, King's ends the regular-season with a 7-9 overall record and a 2-3 Freedom mark while FDU slipped to 4-11 and 1-4.

Madeline Griffin, Lauren DeReinzi, and Maggie Walsh were winners in both singles and doubles for King's. Natalie Coffeee also earned a singles triumph.

King's will travel to face top-seeded Wilkes Tuesday at a time to be announced.
