KING'S WOMEN'S TENNIS SPLITS WITH PENN COLLEGE, LYCOMING

WILLIAMSPORT -- The King's women's tennis team opened their dual match season with a split in matches against Penn College of Technology and Lycoming College Sunday in Williamsport. King's down Penn 4-2 before falling to Lycoming 9-0.

King's was only able to field a roster of four players for the day.  Against Penn College, the Lady Monarchs won three of he four matches played while winning both doubles bouts contested. Natalie Coffee, Thea Seasock and Alyssa Santarelli were both winners in singles and doubles for King's. 

Against Lycoming, King's was forced to forfeit two singles matches and one doubles bout in the loss. Santarelli was the only player to play a three-set match, falling 4-6, 6-4, 10-8 at number three singles.
