KING'S MEN'S HOCKEY FALLS TO NAZARETH, 8-1

PITTSTON -- Visiting Nazareth College scored three goals in the first period, then added four more in the second to walk skate away with a 8-1 victory over host King's College Friday night at Revolution Ice in Pittston.

With the win Nazareth improved to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in the UCHC. King's, meanwhile, slipped to 0-9 and 0-5 in league play.

Eight different players scored goals for Nazareth in the game.

King's trailed 7-0 when the Monarchs got on the board with 1:02 left in the second period as Anthony Frati scored off assists by Isaac Cirinna and Nicholas Palumbo. 

Nazareth outshot King's 42-11  in the game. Mike Costentino started in goal for King's and made 19 saves while allowing six goals. Link Ferch posted 15 stops while yielding two scores.

The Monarchs will travel to Utica, NY Saturday to face 14th ranked Utica College in a 7:00 PM matchup.
