King's Women's Tennis Falls at Delaware Valley

KING'S WOMEN FALL TO DELAWARE VALLEY, 5-4

DOYLESTOWN -- The host Delaware Valley University women's tennis team won two of the three doubles contests to start the match, then managed to split the six singles bouts en route to a 5-4 victory over visiting King's College Saturday in Doylestown.

With the win Delaware Valley improved to 5-7 and 1-4 in league play while King's fell to 2-12 and 0-5.

In doubles, King's team of Julia Keppel and Martin Gale were 8-4 winners in the number-one flight. On singles, Keppel, Emily Kabalka, and Gale were each straight-set winners.

King's returns to the Court Wednesday with a 4:00 PM home matchup against Albright at Kirby Park
