Last Time Out: The Monarchs were set back on Sunday by a game Marywood University team, though King's did have its chances in a 3-1 defeat to the Pacers. King's was awarded a pair of penalty strokes, but MU keeper Kerri Mountz made two great saves to deny the Monarchs. Senior
Rachel Zultevicz scored her first goal of the season on a great deflection late in the contest, but KC was unable to make the comeback.
Alvernia is also coming off a loss, falling at Widener University Saturday in MAC Commonwealth play. Alvernia shook off a two-goal deficit with tallies from Morgan Mondschien and Victoria Strasser but Widener potted a goal 2:07 into overtime to pick up the win.
