Box Score WILKES-BARRE, PA (March 24, 2019) – The Monarchs faced Lebanon Valley College in non-conference play today. The women put up a fight but ultimately lost 5-4 to the Dutchmen.
Emily Fernandez and
Natalie Coffee were victorious at No. 1 doubles pushing Melanie Haas and Emily Wilczek into a tie breaker where they were able to get the win 8-7(2), 7-2.
Fernandez then battled Haas in No. 1 singles where she dominated 6-0 in both sets grabbing another victory for the Monarchs.
Coffee competed at No. 2 singles against Rachel Duong. She won her first set 6-3 to lose 7-5 in the second but make a 6-3 comeback to get the win.
Tallying the last triumph for King's was
Diana Rodriguez who took on Wilczelk in No. 3 singles to win both sets in a 6-1, 6-3 sweep.
