2022-23 King's College Women's Tennis Schedule
WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 15, 2023) -- With their annual spring training trip just over two weeks away, the King's College men's and women's tennis programs and head coach Bill Eydler released their 2023 spring schedules on Wednesday morning. The Monarchs will take on 21 opponents in their spring slate, including 13 match ups on their home court at Kirby Park.
The Monarchs will open their spring schedule in their annual trip to Florida as the men will take on Immaculata, Trine, Northwestern (MN), Ursinus, and Wentworth Institute of Technology over the course of March 5-8, while the women will face Immaculata, Trine, Northwestsern (MN), Ursinus, and Siut Falls (SD) in the same span.
King's will return north to finish out their schedule as they will open play at home on March 19 as they host Susquehanna at 1:00 p.m. A busy end to March will see the Monarchs play host to Lebanon Valley (Mar. 26), Clarks Summit (Mar. 29), and Cairn (Mar. 30). April will open up their Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) schedule with a doubleheader with FDU-Florham and Stevens on Saturday, April 1 before returning to non-conference play against Penn College (Apr. 2) and Marywood (Apr. 3).
The Monarchs will hit the road for the first time since their spring trip as they make the short ride up the mountain to take on Misericordia on Apr. 4 before heading across town to face Wilkes on Apr. 12. King's will return to Kirby Park for their MAC Freedom contest against DeSales on Apr. 13 before heading down to Glenside, Pa. to face Arcadia on Apr. 15.
The final stretch will see King's host non-conference opponents in Rutgers-Newark and Elizabethtown on Apr.16 and Eastern on Apr. 21 with their MAC Freedom finale against Lycoming on Apr. 18.
The 2023 MAC Freedom Champoinships are set to get underway on Wednesday, Apr. 26 with the semifinal match ups before the 2023 MAC Freedom Champion is set to be crowned on Saturday, Apr. 29.
