Swimming Fall Scholar All-America Teams

Swimming Continues to Excel in the Classroom with CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors

RICHMOND, VA (February 3, 2023) -- On Thursday afternoon, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced the selection of 803 teams from 479 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2022 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2022 team grade point averages (GPA) and represent 19,426 student-athletes. Among the 803 teams honored this fall were the King's College men's and women's swimming programs.

The King's men finished the fall semester with a 3.34 GPA and were seen among seven MAC schools, while the King's women finished with a 3.46 GPA and were one of the nine MAC women's programs recognized. The honor marked the 27th straight semester that the King's women's program has earned the accolade, each semester that Matt Easterday has led the program. The men's squad has picked up the award 25 of the last 27 semesters under Easterday.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
